By train and taxi
The nearest railway stations are Aylesbury Vale Parkway (about 6 miles / 10 minutes by taxi) and Bicester North (about 10 miles / 15 minutes). Both are on Chiltern Railways from London Marylebone.

- Oxford → Bicester Village → change → Aylesbury Vale Parkway — around 1 hour with one change.
- Birmingham Moor Street → Bicester North — about 1 hour 20 minutes direct on Chiltern.
Local firms such as Aylesbury Cars and Bicester Taxis will do the onward hop; book in advance on Saturdays and during Christmas. A single trip is usually £12–£18.
By bus
Arriva bus service 16 / 17 runs between Aylesbury and Bicester and stops in Waddesdon village, a ten-minute signposted walk to the manor gates. Frequency is roughly hourly during the day and reduced on Sundays. It is a viable car-free option combined with a train to Aylesbury.
Coach tours and day trips
Several operators include Waddesdon on themed day trips from London, Oxford and Windsor — usually combined with Blenheim, Stowe or Bicester Village. If you want maximum time in the house rather than on the road, arrive independently and give yourself at least four hours on site.
